Anyone that has decided their ranking of the 7 other teams can send it to me anytime.

If my interent goes down again for 12 plus hours, I may end up in jail for killing people at my cable company!

Anyway, I think private is best, and I am not sure how to I am going to decide, we all have really good teams!

I trust you, I think PM is the best way.  Reason being say I seed Team 99 in the 7th seed, they may get mad and seed me 7th out of spite, along with say I seed Team 22 first, my team may be the worst team out there but to pay me back they may seed me higher than I should be.  I think private on that is the best way.  

Well the reason I wanted it to not be about luck is because this is a one and done kind of tournament. In all the sports those kind of tournaments have seedings from best to worst as to make sure the better teams dont end up eliminating each other early. Plus the owners vote should count for something, we are the ones who just studied the rosters for the last twenty years and might be the best 8 people to vote on this subject right now. The vote for seeding is just a way to make sure the best team wins this thing and then goes on to destroy the other teams in the eventual battles with them. I had mentioned it as early as that thread on the Steelers board a month or two ago. I have just erased threads as we went along in this group to keep the draft thread in front and easy to find.

Well, I would prefer to do it publicly, but as far as the seeding goes, why not just rate the seedings like they were in the draft, but to make it fair and so it will not be overly lopsided, why not role a dice for the opponent of a given individual.  I have an 8 sided dice we can use so it can be completely random if no one would object to it.  I'd hate to see the last placed team automatically play the highest ranked team.  If you like my idea let me know...if not, I'll just rank the teams like I feel according to their strengths and weaknesses.  Just a thought...a ramdom dice roll is about as fair and impartial as one could get for determining a foe.
